"Oh, I slept amazing," he said, getting closer until he was standing directly in front of Aria. "But I have a question, love. Did you work all day? Did you work for months away from home?" He chuckled, but it was dark and his eyes grew darker. "Because I am wondering just why you were so tired. Why you missed breakfast with me and why I was waiting for you," he said, his hand gripping Aria's wrist too tightly.
