It wasn't Leo who found the note. Instead, it was the nurse on her way in to give Leo his medications at 8 who found it, placing it down on the bedside table for him when she was done.

As soon as he read it, he was on the pone, contacting whoever he thought stood a chance of finding the boy first. It wasn't overly hard to track him down really. Not for some of Leo's contacts.

No, it was getting there that was the problem. He had had to unhook his drip and all the other equipment as quickly as possible, so he had time to get out before anyone noticed. It was hours later that they pulled up outside the hotel room and Leo ripped the taxi driver extra.

He knocked on the door and waited.
